Terms and Conditions

All vehicle rentals are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

Daily hire charges

The daily hire charges include unlimited kilometres, insurance and GST (12.5%).
All charges are calculated on a daily basis for motorhomes. Vehicles are available at 8.30 am on the day you commence your hire and must be returned by 5 pm at the termination of the hire, unless prior arrangements are made.

Hire Periods and Relocate Fees

For all rentals there is a minimum period of 7 days. Some hires may be subject to a relocation fee but all fees will be included in the quoted total price.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellation 30 days prior to pick up incur a NZ$120.00 administration fee.
Cancellation 30-14 days prior to pick up 50% refund of deposit.
Cancellation 14-0 days prior to pick up no refund of deposit.

Refunds

Regretfully no refunds can be given for any unused portion of your holiday.

Vehicle Substitution & Design

We shall make every effort to provide the vehicle you requested but where a vehicle is unavailable for any reason we reserve the right to provide a comparable vehicle. Whilst including the same facilities, vehicle layouts may vary slightly to those shown due to manufacturer design changes.

Drivers Licence

A current valid International, New Zealand or drivers licence from your country of origin is required. Drivers must be over 21 years of age. No special licence is required for our motorhomes.

Insurance

Standard Insurance is included in the daily rates with an excess of $1000 on 2 berths and $1500 on 4 and 6 berths. Broken windscreens and damaged tyres and punctures are hirers’ responsibility. If a tyre requires replacing, a preferred brand is only to be fitted. Advice from our office  can be obtained if you are uncertain. Note: insurance does not cover hirers’ personal property.

Bonds

A bond of $1000 for 2 Berth Vehicles and $1500 for 4 and 6 Berth Vehicles is required by way of credit card imprint and is destroyed after the vehicle has been returned in clean, undamaged condition and with the toilet emptied.

Deposit

A deposit of $500 or 20% of total hire is payable to secure a booking.

Depots

Depots are currently located in Christchurch, Auckland, Picton and Nelson.

Fuel Tank

All vehicles must be returned full.
