DRIVING
Pax Capacity: 2 Adults,
Seating Configuration: Seatbelts for two in the front driving cab.
Radio/Cassette: Radio/cassette player, speakers only in driving cab.
Cigarette Lighter: 12V, which is suitable to charge up video camera batteries
Fuel: Diesel only: 68 litre tank/15 gallon.
Fuel Consumption: Approximately 7 km per litre, 14 litres per 100 km.
Diesel Price in NZ
Approximately 60-70 cents per litre, depending on town of purchase.
Engine Specifications 2.5 litre, diesel turbo.
Transmission: Manual.
Power Equipment: Power steering, power assisted brakes.
Tyres: Tyre pressure should be checked regularly. The recommended pressure is 55psi.
Spare Tyre: The spare tyre is located under rear of the vehicle. External access only.
Tools: The tool kit is located behind the drivers seat.
LIVING
Sleeping configuration: One double bed (1.85m x 1.75m).
Fridge Freezer: The fridge operates on 12V battery whilst driving and on 240V mains when plugged in at a camp ground. The fridge will automatically switch over between the two supplies. Fridge capacity 55 litre.
Gas Cooker: 2 ring cooker with griller ignited by match.
Gas Bottle: 2 x 2.5kg bottle. The gas bottle is located in the external storage locker on the drivers side of the vehicle. Bottle has an 'ON/OFF' tap on it. Please ensure it is in 'OFF' position when not in use and when driving.
Fresh Water Tank: Capacity is 70 litre/15 gallon. The filler cap is located on the passenger side of the vehicle marked 'WATER' and the filler hose is in the wardrobe.
Grey Water Tank: Holding tank for grey waste water generated from the shower and kitchen sink. Disposable at all camp grounds and dump sites. Holds 70 litres/15 gallons grey water, and should be empty on drop-off. Grey water hose is in the driver's side exterior compartment.
Microwave: The microwave operates from 240V only so the vehicle must be plugged into mains power to operate.
Bathroom Facilities Hot and cold pressurised water in shower cubicle.
Toilet: Located in cubicle with shower. Flush toilet waste goes into cassette holding tank that is accessed from exterior compartment door. Toilet is full of chemicals on pick-up of vehicle, with a small complimentary supply. Toilet cassette holding tank must be flushed out and empty on drop-off.
Water Heater: Water heater works on gas and is operated by a switch. Water will be heated after approximately 15 minutes
